I hold a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western University and an Honours BSc in Biology from McMaster University. I am a registered member of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO), holding membership with OSOT. I received further training with Certification in Catastrophic Impairment Evaluation (C-CAT - FO), and Certification in Medicolegal Expertise (CMLE) with the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators (CSME).

Complex MVA files require clinical findings that are both functionally meaningful and clearly supported by the assessment evidence. Atlas North applies a structured, objective approach to functional assessment, with findings linked to observed performance, standardized measures, clinical documentation, collateral interviews, and the questions the assessment is intended to address. Reports are prepared with the expectation that their methodology and conclusions may be subject to detailed clinical, insurer, and legal review.

Atlas North's role is to document function as it is observed, including abilities, limitations, supports and areas of uncertainty. Clinical opinions are based on the available evidence and are not predetermined by the referral source or anticipated outcome of the file.

With seven years of experience spanning Ontario's SABS, WSIB, and LTD sectors, I understand the administrative realities of complex files. I coordinate directly with insurance adjusters, nurse consultants, hospital discharge staff, and legal teams, not just producing a report and disappearing. If a file needs a phone call instead of an email, I’ll make the call.

I founded Atlas North after seven years on the front lines of Ontario's Motor Vehicle Accident sector. I saw a problem: In large, high-volume assessment clinics, hands-on clinical care and rigorous medical-legal defensibility was getting lost. Atlas North was built to address this issue.

Because I actively provide hands-on treatment to catastrophically injured clients I understand how impairments can persist and worsen over months to years. This longitudinal perspective means I does not just capture a single snapshot in time; it ensures that functional barriers are fully captured and documented.

My firsthand experiences testifying as an occupational therapy expert witness at Ontario's Licence Appeal Tribunal (LAT) inform the objective standard applied to every single file at Atlas North. By using my active rehabilitation practice with my credentials from the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators (CSME) - including the C-CAT and CMLE - I deliver reports that clearly link observed function with clinical findings and recommendations.
